Já deixaria claro o imperativo categórico sua lei universal. Ao que esclarece dúvidas quanto corrupção e opressão, Kant já diria que seguir a vida de forma a fazer com que todo ato se torne lei universal seria a solução ideal.
Assim que meus estudos sobre ética e moral se iniciaram, minha visão de mundo mudou completamente, ao ponto de nunca mais tratar de certos assuntos da mesma maneira. As propagandas partidárias chegam a gerar repulsa em quem as assiste e já sabe o mínimo sobre a filosofia Socrática ou mesmo a moderna. A partir do momento que meus olhos se abriram para um mundo gigantesco e um caldeirão de individualidade e culturas, várias vezes me vi presa a uma realidade que me foi instituída desde a infância; o mundo perfeito.
Talvez nem a filosofia seja capaz de explicar como queremos que tudo seja perfeitamente moldado para nós, da forma que queremos, por quem e quando queremos. A luta incansável pela perfeição se vê cada vez mais contínua e a sociedade batalha para alcançar padrões sociais superiores aos de qualquer outra época. Por um lado, somos mais inclusivos e liberais, pelo outro, ainda nos pegamos ligados a um conservadorismo inútil para nosso século.
Vendo o mundo pelos olhos de Immanuel Kant, percebi que seguindo seu imperativo categórico, fui capaz de mudar muitos dos meus atos, antes imperceptíveis, corruptos para atos mais honestos e humanos. Seguindo a lógica da lei universal, fui capaz de estabelecer limites para minhas próprias ações, de modo a me identificar com um estilo de vida muito diferente do que eu vinha seguindo até então. Me tornei uma amiga melhor, passei a valorizar minha família um pouco mais exacerbadamente e consegui atingir um certo equilíbrio psicológico com misteriosa maestria.
Ainda não entendo com clareza a razão da desvalorização das disciplinas de filosofia e sociologia nas escolas, já que podemos compreender muito bem o mundo a nossa volta e mudar certas coisas, que hoje parecem imutáveis, no futuro.
